Growing up in the CoC, my family was active for several generations across Pennsylvania. I've attended brotherhood colleges (Northeastern Christian Jr. College and Freed-Hardeman University) and earned my BA in 1990. I've been active in several churches, including a Southern Baptist and now a Free Methodist. 

My family has deep roots in PA, back to about 1740s, and in Scotland to about 1040. We have several family reunions each summer I attend. I'm casually active in genealogy.

I spend a lot of time on my computers, kind of a geek you might say. But I'm very good with words, too...perhaps an editor? Working on an on-line "study Bible" and other Bible study projects... I sometimes blog and am on Facebook, frequently! I take photos and share them on FB.

Over the winter I was part of a self-described "New Testemant church" but gradually realized that they are quite baptistic. The pastor (a some-time friend) fond a web site that sayd the CoC is a cult and that the Restoration Movement lost its way. I had to leave that church... 

Today I'm worshiping with the Berwick (PA) Church of Christ, and wondering how God will use me in the future. Teaching? via the Internet? something else? I would love to be a part of a CoC here in Hazleton...
